Coverage Offered On Commercial Auto

Non-Business: Vehicles operated for primarily personal purposes.

Commercial: Vehicles used in a business that do not qualify for the Service use class. Examples include bulk delivery, wholesale delivery, transport of goods, etc.

Courier/Delivery: Courier services and small package delivery vehicles. Delivery subject to time constraints is unacceptable.
Heavy/Special: Vehicles identified as high risk exposure due to their manner of operation. High risk is generally due to the size/stability of the loads being hauled; the mileage traveled, or time constraints on delivery.


Service: Any Vehicle used to carry tools, supplies or supervisory personnel to or from a jobsite that remains parked at two or fewer jobsites for most of the workday. Also includes farm/yard vehicles which are used for incidental trips.


Pizza/Prepared Food: Vehicles used to deliver food prepared to order. Delivery subject to time constraints is unacceptable.
Funeral: Vehicles owned and operated by funeral directors or funeral services.
